For anyone interested, here is a pricing breakdown for our Dyno!
(As of July 29th, 2010. Subject to change without notice).

Baseline Package
Includes, strap down fee, syncing the vehicle, and general setup (1 hour)-$100
*We will give you print outs after each successful dyno run. If you would like to save your run data please bring a flash drive to put it on, we are not responsible for lost data.*

Hourly Rental
$100 for first hour and $75 per hour thereafter, charged in 1/2 intervals, vehicle setup is included in first hour. This is for people who wish to tune there vehicles on there own with there own tools and equipment. If you would like us to tune the vehicle for you, add an additional $16 per hour for tool/software usage and dedicated access to our experienced tuning technician (Mark Moulton). *This does not include if we have to purchase tuning software specifically for your vehicle.

Daily / Group Rentals
$275 1/2 day (4 hours), $500 per day (8 hours), plus $25 for each car in the group. We recommend groups bring no more then 8 cars per daily session to maximize time.

Wideband hookup
We can also provide wideband o2 sensors for dyno sessions. There is a $25 per session fee for using our sensors. These can either be clamped on using a sniffer on the tail pipe or installed into a bung welded further upstream. The weld in bung is installed farther upstream in the exhaust system to give much more accurate readings and is a must for proper tuning. The cost of installing the bung is $50+tax including parts for one or $60+tax if your vehicle has a duel exhaust and requires two.

If you have any questions, comments or would like to book your dyno session please feel free to give me a PM, email (patrick.belding@hemihouse.com) or call at 506-462-9697.

Really good guys over at HH. I recommend them for anyone looking to dyno (or anything else for that matter).

You would want a programmer to tune your vehicle. I think Superchips says it best but for you I would get a Diablosport.

Quote:
A programmer downloads new information to your vehicle’s computer, and stores the original information in case you ever want to go back (you wont’). The real value of a programmer is the work and experience that goes into that new information. You don’t get that expertise by being in the business for just a few years.

At Superchips, our engineering teams adjust all of the elements that affect vehicle power: air/fuel ratio, fuel injector flow rates and spark timing. We also tune shift characteristics of an automatic transmission for maximum acceleration and a performance feel.

Thirty years ago, these results would have required rejetting a carburetor, reworking the spark advance on the distributor and installing a transmission shift-improvement kit. Today, it’s knowing how to read fuel and spark maps, knowing exactly where to push the limits and testing, testing, testing.

There are several key factors to creating a “tune” for your vehicle. First, it has to maximize power without causing you headaches. That means no broken parts caused by the increased power. One of the measurements we use in our testing is Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT). This is especially critical in turbo diesel applications. It’s easy to create really impressive power increases in these applications, but a skyrocketing EGT is going to lead to broke engine parts, no questions asked.

I just checked out their website and couldn't find anything for my measily 2.4l engine, they seem to cater more to the diesel and 3.7l+ guys out there.

but then I doubt there is much power to be unleashed in a 2.4l motor by just tuning the thing a bit.

That may be true but if I come up with anything I'll let you know!
